THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU RIDE.
Dirt Bandits is raw but thats the point!
You will be exposed to the elements including dust, rain, cold water, rocks and the occasional cow dung... therefore dress sensibly. All participants should wear closed in shoes and sensible clothing. We recommend casual trousers or shorts, and a casual shirt. We will provide you with a poncho to wear during your session.
As you may get wet or messy during your experience, it is recommended that you bring a change of clothes (mainly trousers) and as the weather can change quickly its best to bring a jacket to keep you warm. If poor weather is expected during your Experience, we strongly recommend you dress according to the conditions to ensure your comfort throughout your Experience. During winter ski attire would be very suitable however it might get dirty!.
Although we love the thrill of off-roading, safety comes first.
We conduct a safety briefing prior to passengers being seated into the vehicle, ensuring that you understand the steps to take in the event of an incident.
Each passenger is provided with a firm fitting helmet and goggles, and is strapped into the vehicle by way of a 4-point seat harness. It is important that no part of your body exit the vehicle roll cage and we insist that passengers maintain a firm grip on the provided handles.
Our drivers have extensive experience behind the wheel of the vehicle and vehicles undergo regular comprehensive safety checks. Each session is designed with the passenger safety in mind however off-roading by nature is variable and unpredictable, and incidents can occur without warning.
During your experience, if you are feeling anxious or are suffering from motion sickness, you must advise our driver immediately so that we can adjust the experience to suit.
On the day, and in the moment your experienced driver may use discretion to change the speed and trail to mitigate the risk of incident. Our driver reserves the right to cancel or postpone a session if deemed unsafe due to the environmental conditions or mechanical failure.
You may bring your own safety gear if preferred.
Safety is our priority - these rules are designed for your protection and the safety of everyone in the Bandit. Your experienced driver has final authority on all safety matters.
Our facility is located in a remote location with limited services.
You are responsible for removing all food & beverage recycling, packaging and general rubbish that you or your group bring into the facility.
We do have a toilet and room for you to change into dry clothing. Services such as electricity are not provided and phone and internet reception is limited at best depending on your telecommunications service provider.
In the interests of driver or passenger safety, reckless or indecent behaviour will not be tolerated from any participant. Dirt Bandits will terminate a participant's session at any time without exception if we deem your behaviour is inappropriate or unsafe.
Reckless or indecent behaviour includes but is not limited to: intoxication, not following the instructions of guides, use of offensive language, destruction or damage to property, and abuse of other participants.
Refunds will not be granted under such circumstances.
You will need to sign a waiver before participating in a Dirt Bandits experience.
All participants must sign a liability waiver confirming they understand the rules, their physical capability to participate, and acceptance of inherent risks associated with riding in an off-road environment. This includes all children and where multiple children are present, it is deemed the person who booked the session is the responsible guardian for those children.
Due to the significant risk of fire across the farm and riverbed, smoking is strictly prohibited from the Main Road Junction.
Vaping is allowed.
